I have a very special report for you at the bottom of this article; a secret I discovered while down in the Amazon Jungle. But first…

Yesterday, I counted at least three stories in the Wall Street Journal that told of hope in this wild economy. One of special interest was the cost of oil dropping, making the Dow Jones rise over 300 points!

Now before you think I dive into the financials, relax. I love the WSJ because it has a ton a good feature stories and is very global. Another story told how the housing market was showing a glimmer of hope. Wow! That IS good news, no?

But what I want to talk to you about today is how you can make cash work harder for you than it ever has before. I mean really making that George Washington squeek!

Yes, I heard all the bad affirmations when I was growing up, like “money doesn’t grow on trees” and everything about how to count pennies. It was Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, and their various economies and we, as a family were not wealthy. But at the same time, we, as kids, were never taught to save anything.

The thought at the time was that there was not enough left over to save. And because we kept thinking that way - our thoughts were manifested.

But I made a discovery while we were down in Brazil, in the dark Amazon Jungles, and later found that it was a huge law of the “universe.” God set these things up, and it’s amazing how if we follow them, we benefit big time.

So I want to share this with you, because I know it will help you get the most value from your dollar during these times. And I want you to put the secret to the test for 90 days - and then report back to me. Let me know how it worked for you.

Because you are one of my blog readers and are on my newsletter list, I want you to have this report for only $2.00. But after 10 days I am going to raise the price to $7.00, the same as all of my other reports. And there’s a no-risk guarantee - if you don’t believe it is worth that - simply ask me for a refund. But it’s worth so much more because if you put it to use, you will see how money will flow to you.

OK, I know you’ll be happy with it, so here’s the order button:

Actually, I’ve been using this time saver for a few months now. Something I learned back in early June. The whole premise is while working at something, if you can focus for two hours, you save a ton of time. And I know that sounds simplistic, so let me explain - at least how I do it.

Oh, before I forget, I need a few helpers. I can hear you saying - you don’t have time, so how could you lend a hand here? Well, what I am looking for is something you may already do. What I am looking for is a contributor to the blog here. Some of you have been huge contributors as commentors, so this might be right for you.

And what do you get for it? Well, I can’t pay you yet, but I want you to know that your articles will be seen by hundreds of subscribers on my mailing list, and people who visit the website. Your entries will have your name and people will be able to contact you - even though your email address won’t be on the website.

I’m looking for contributions on observations on life, network marketing, success, and human interest. So if you are interested, please let me know and I can get you started immediately.

Now, back to time saving.

Here’s the deal. It has been found that the body works best in blocks of two hours. If you can start your day doing the most important thing you need to get done, and stick with it - focused - for two hours, you will get tons of work done.

Then, take a break for about 10 to 15 minutes. And then get back into it.

I am creating an ebook on this time management system that will help anyone in a fun and easy way get control of their time. It will be available soon - and I’ll let you know right here.

You know, one thing that blew me away with the study of time was that after the two hours, you know how you get sleepy or sluggish and reach for a coffee? Gotta have my coffee…

Well, the current study is that your body actually needs to take a quick time-out during those 10 to 15 minutes and coffee will actually starve your body from the rest it needs. So you end up becoming more tired, and worn out by the end of the day.

Just try this and tell me how it works for you. I’ve been doing it and it works wonders. Work for two straight hours - focused and really staying on track. Then take a little break - maybe eat a little snack. But no pick me ups! Then get back into it.

Sure, you can have a cup later on - but when you are feeling that little sleepy feeling and think that a cup of coffee is the answer - let your body rest for a bit. Let me know what happens.

Hey, more tips coming your way to help you be more successful and if you can please help me here, with contributions, I would like to hear from you. Thanks!

I study animals a lot, mostly because I was raised in the sticks in the middle of the Amazon rain forest. It was just a part of life living among them because for the most part, we were in their territory. The folks that helped Mom and Dad with their house simply cleared a place out of the jungle and put up the mud and plaster walls.

And when you first arrive in a place like that, you notice things. Now you’re probably thinking from the title of this article that I’m going to talk about me being braver, and I’ll get to that in a sec, but I want to first focus on how most of the jungle animals were designed to survive by being brave.

Most of them won’t give up on anything they do.

Boldness is such a necessary part of being courageous, but you just can’t be bold and hope for the best. That gets even the best jungle animal killed. I watched these critters assess their surroundings and make some pretty intelligent choices. And studies have shown that this boldness over time builds a wonderful habit of courage.

A few animals will sit and wait it out, but most of them take action and try to find a quick route to escape or a better path to capture their lunch. This SO applies to you and me you won’t believe it.

When I counsel anyone who is in a downward spiral, nine times out of ten they have been pretty much motionless for the past month or so. That leads to depression and hopelessness. But with action, almost any action taken, turns into great results. We’re wired to keep moving!

Take any nature - persistence, love, courtesy, courage, integrity - and if you act boldly with them, unseen forces will come to your aid. Try it.

Do jungle animals know the score every time. You already know the answer to that one. But they do take a huge leap of faith when they decide to move. This develops courage. Listen - every great venture in the history of man has begun with faith and a giant leap into the unknown.

Who said - There is no security in life, only opportunity - ?

Babson College conducted a study of successful entrepreneurs over 12 years. Have you heard about this? The conclusion was that they all had in common the willingness to launch, step out in faith. Once they started, they took time to learn the lessons they needed to succeed. Almost all of them ended up successful - but in different businesses than where they started.

Are you going to be bold today? Are you going to stretch yourself? Maybe call that person who has been on your mind?

Remember that the animals face failure and fear but they must move to survive. They act with audacity. And yes - it normally gets them into trouble - but they use more audacity to get out! What are your thoughts? Gonna go for it and be bold?

This has become such a growing thing on the Internet and we’ve been using it with our groups here in Naples, that I’m surprised there aren’t more people and groups using this for distributing information or simply rallying the troups. And what I’m talking about is a nifty technology called live streaming video.

Did you know that almost all of the companies providing this service are doing it for free?

It’s true! And we’ve been using it for over a year with good success. The two most popular services are Ustream and Justin TV. Ustream is geared more toward a serious crowd, although if you scan through their channels, you’re sure to find goofy people on there. In fact, last week I hopped on and on the main page was that fellow that sings “Chocolate Rain” on YouTube.

A handful of churches are using this technology to broadcast their services live, too. It’s very cool and there are endless applications for it.

So what I challenge you to do is create an account at Ustream and using a webcam and your Internet connection, tell your group and broadcast your conference and updates. There’s even a feature to record your broadcast, and as I said, it’s all totally free.

Justin TV is more for life casters - people who have a camera on all the time and need that significance. You can stream there as well, but Ustream is my first choice.

Ustream is at http://www.ustream.tv/ and Justin TV is at http://www.justin.tv/

What do you think of this cool way to do your meetings?

We decided this year to go to the Naples 4th of July parade held on 5th Avenue to show our support for our country. And it was fun and full of everything you’d expect from a small town on the Gulf of Mexico. But what snagged my attention was the challenge our daughter was having getting any candy thrown from the floats.

It’s a tradition in many parades here in US that the people on the floats throw hard candy to the kids lined up along the parade route.

Rachel, our seven year old, wanted to get strategically positioned to get as much as she could as the parade passed by in all its glory. She wriggled her way through a couple of families and got right out on the front line. Perfect.

However, after a bit she returned and we both asked why? The position seemed perfect, but Rachel said that there was big competition. A couple of older girls and a younger girl were there at the same place. It would be impossible to get anything.

We coached her a bit saying that there will be plenty and so she returned to her position. But it didn’t last long. After about 5 minutes, she returned saying she really didn’t want candy anyway and that candy wasn’t good for you and she just wanted to find somewhere to sit.

I thought of how much what she was going through was like many of the people I see in Network Marketing, or any marketing for that matter.

They go out and position themselves for maximum exposure, but then find out that’s where the big dogs hang out, too. And then after a little coaching, they return but give up saying they just aren’t cut out for that, or that they really didn’t want that anyway.

But then, the dad and coach that I am, I showed Rachel that she needed to ask for the candy and people would go out of their way to give it to her. So, reluctantly she returned to the front lines.

Then it happened. When a big float full of people with bags of candy went by she looked up and held out her hand as if asking for the candy. Two people threw a handful at her! The other “dogs” or girls there waiting for candy were not doing this, so people were drawn to the open hand first.

Then something unexpected happened that really was fun to watch.

Rachel had turned the open hand into something else. She would wave at the floats as they passed by - and that would catch their attention. And once she had their attention, she then turned that wave into an open hand asking for candy.

Wow! It worked SO well! And I thought this is just what we need to do everyday. Get their attention, and then not forget to ask for the sale. Ask - it opens so many doors.

Rachel still has a big bag of candy at home and is proud to tell you the story of how she got it.

They’re called vanity license plates, or custom plates, and in most places you can get them for under a hundred bucks. But I couldn’t believe the games they are playing in the UAE with these things. And for a minute we were discussing here in the Jackson household how much a million dollars must mean to them.

In Abu Dhabi, one of the places where we get our oil in this country, they are having fun bidding against each other for custom license plates. Ferrari S.p.A. says sales are brisk in this area of the world, as does Rolls Royce. Did you know that one of the guys over there paid $14 million for the license plate with just the letter “L”?

And the guy’s cousin bought the number “5″ for $9 million!

You’re probably thinking what the normal price for a tag here is. It’s $95 according to the Wall Street Journal. And since these guys are into craziness, the low numbers, such as the same number as their car model, are considered prestigious.

For example, the brother of the cousin (I know, gets complicated) who paid $9 million for the number “5″, paid just over $120,000 for the numbers “430″ which look classy on his Ferrari F430. Funny thing is, the Ferrari is listed at $180,000!

A guy that spent $14 million on the number “1″ said it was a coup for his family. 25 year old Saeed’s family has the money. His brother is trying to get the number “494″ which is included in his Hotmail address. His cousin already has “149″, for the Ferrari F149 set to come out next year.

And Ahmad Al-Ketbi showed up at the auction dead set on getting the number “29″ which would match one his father has only in a different color. “I gotta have a plate,” he said. Ahmad is only 15 years old, three years away from the legal driving age. But he stuck to it, amidst guys twice his age, lifting his bidding flag time and again until he won… for $530,000. Go figure.

Yesterday NBC was showing the Olympic Team Trials in swimming and Michael Phelps set a World Record. But that wasn’t the coolest thing of the afternoon in Omaha. Heavy winds tore the siding off the building a day earlier and rains sent tons of water to clog drains. Still they got the place ready for Sunday’s event.

But what totally blew me away was Rowdy Gaines, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, and now NBC commentator, answered the question on the air about the new-fangled Speedo Laser RACER swimsuit that almost everyone was using.

Rowdy claimed that yes, the swimsuit was tight and the seams supposedly sewn by laser, and that the look and feel was perfect for the swimmers, but that wasn’t the most important part. There is even a zipper that goes up the back, making the corset-like suit fit even tighter. He said it took him 20 minutes to put one on. And yet he said the suit was not what helped the swimmers break world records or swim faster than they had ever before.

Gaines, born in Winter Haven, Florida, said that when swimmers put that suit on, they “think” they can swim faster. The suit gives them that power that they need, mentally. So, he said, it totally prepares them mentally. If they think they can swim faster - they will.

And I thought that was SO good that I paused the Tivo and replayed it for myself, and my son who was watching and texting his friend in Australia (can’t kids stop for a sec?). It was powerful and is powerful. It’s just a synthetic suit - nothing more. But mentally, it’s a lot more.

So today, as much as I’d like to fit in a Laser suit, I am going to gather around me the things that make me “think” I can go farther, do more and be better at it. And that’s my wish for you, today, too. Find your Laser suit and put it on and believe it will make you do what you need to do to win your Gold.

As far back as I can remember studying self improvement, the mind is the most powerful element in the mix. And what we think about money, the thought we put and the place we put it in our lives is really important. Especially now with all the rough stuff happening in the US economy. As it trickles down to you, I want you to make sure you’ve gone into your quiet place and get totally certain what your belief about money is.

Because the way you think about the stuff, that determines how much of it you will accumulate more than anything else. You know better than I that your attitude towards money affects your emotions and your motivation. If mom pounded into your head that money doesn’t fall from trees, i.e. it is super scarce - right now, today, is the time to change that.

If you are really serious about becoming a millionaire then you’ll want to know how fortunes are made, at least in the US. Did you know that the number one way is self-owned businesses? Ha! I love it! Because I know most of you are involved in self-owned businesses! 74 percent of all self-made millionaires in America - and not only in this century but the last century as well - came from self-owned businesses.

And these businesses weren’t handed to them. These guys worked these things from the ground up! Remember Andrew Carnegie, Jacob van Astor, Thomas Edison, Commodore Vanderbilt, J.P. Morgan, and others? They all started from scratch just like you. Here are a few modern ones - Bill Gates, Steve Case, Larry Ellison, Ross Perot, Sam Walton. These people started with nothing.

I know you want to know the next group - and they are the senior executives. A good 10 percent of them joined companies and made their way to the top. You know the routine; they were paid well, given stock options, profit sharing, bonuses.

Did you know that Richard Eisner of Disney received a $126 million bonus one year. No, that’s not his salary. That’s his bonus! Lee Iacoca was paid $26.7 million one year as a bonus.

The third level are the doctors and lawyers and such. These are people who got good at what they do and rose in their professions. The top dogs here earn 10 to 20 times what the rest of the group does.

Fourth level are salespeople. Five percent here are self-made millionaires. Most never went to college or have professional degrees. They just became great at what they did. Their secret was that they invested their money and held on to it.

Finally, there are all the people in the other areas, actors, singers, inventors, show biz types, sports, authors, lottery. But that’s only one percent.

There are so many ways for you to become a millionaire that it’s almost impossible not to if you are really serious about it.

Decide what you really enjoy doing and then throw your heart into doing it extremely well. Next, be honest with yourself on an on-going basis that what you are doing will really lead to financial independence - or do you have to make some changes?

If you do - do them now! Take action - I am cheering for you!
