When I was in college, the quaint campus of Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, Texas, as much as I was fascinated with the studies of the Bible, I was thrilled to be involved with physics. Turns out they didn’t have much of a program in my time, but I managed to find a few other minds in the student cafe that would allow me to share my views and opinion.
One of the wonderful things about physics is that, like any science, there are laws that govern it. Granted, we’re discovering new laws every decade, but this is progress. We’ll never know it all no matter how many centuries we study. There is simply too much set before us.
But one comfort in it all is the prospect that once discovered, processes follow patterns. There are “laws” of science that allow us to create millions of new gizmos each year. We know these laws as absolutes. They become expectations.
What many have decided when they study something paranormal is that normal laws no longer apply. But that isn’t the case. It is simply that these phenomenon have their own laws.
Lately I’ve been discussing the subconscious mind and how it functions, how you can harness the great power of it. Again, many think that because we cannot see it, it must not follow a law, or pattern. But it does.
Just as a piece of steel will expand when heated in Brazil, China, or Africa, it’s a universal law (or truth) that whatever you impress upon your subconscious min is expressed on the screen of space as condition, experience, and event.
The cool thing about physics and what wonderful things we have today (this PC that I’m typing on) is that they actually always were – electricity was always around in those atoms and molecules. Plastics and semi-conductors weren’t brought back from Mars. They’ve always been here even when Jesus walked the planet earth. We simply cooperated with nature and these inventions were manifested.
Your subconscious mind works according to the law of belief. So what is belief? The Bible says, “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23
The law of your mind is the law of belief. The belief of your mind are your thoughts – simple. All of your experiences, events, conditions, and acts are the reactions of your subconscious mind to your thoughts. It’s not the deal you’re believing in – it’s your belief that brings that thing about.
Quit believing in the false beliefs, opinions, superstitions, and fears out there. Believe in the eternal facets and truths of life, which never change. I challenge you today to busy yourself with the concepts of harmony, peace, health, and good will, and according to the “law”, wonders will happen in your life.
