A cure may never be possible for you. And it isn’t because you can’t be cured. What happened in my case took a healthy dose of faith. And most people aren’t at the level required to bring about cure.

It’s funny. We blindly believe other things in life, but when it is something we’ve been told can only be treated through surgery and/or medication, if an alternative way has been found – most shrug it off as impossible.

My thinking is, if you believe in what I’m about to tell you, you can probably be cured of hyperthyroid as well. Nothing is sure in this life, but I’ve found a grain of faith goes a long, long way.

One of my first concepts, and it’s not new, is that the body has to be in the best shape it can be in order to do what it needs to do. We are given a fantastic body. One that can repair itself. My belief is that is why we’re told to take care of it in Scripture. But we don’t. We abuse it in so many ways and still hope it will get us to 100.

So the first matter of business is getting in as good shape as you possibly can. For me, it’s a 5 times a week routine. I take my daughter to school – within walking distance, and keep jogging for about 45 minutes. This is extraordinary cardio. But I don’t stop with jogging.

I was at a conference in January of this year with Dr. Oz. And he says some pretty incredible stuff to a rather large audience on Oprah, so I take notes when he talks. He said that as we age, we must do weight lifting. It’s a must. So I go from jogging, without missing much of a beat, to around 100 situps on my bench. Then I do anything from free weights to my Smith machine (weight lifting on vertical runners.) In all, I get done with it all in an hour and a half.

Within 45 minutes, I’m downing a high protein shake I make up, loaded with fruit, ground flax seed, and other interesting yummy but good for you ingredients. This is real important to feed muscle. And with that shake, I take a fine tuned list of mineral supplements.

I eat raw as much as possible. And gluten free. You probably think it strange, but some meals I eat a ton of veggies…and hummus. Think of why you are eating. In the curing stage you can no longer eat for pleasure. But this stuff tastes great, too. You acquire a taste.

Too many times we’re stuffing our faces and our body is working overtime on food alone with no time to work on healing. Don’t eat after 8 PM; earlier if you can. Go to bed early, too. Get at least 8 hours of sleep if you’re looking to cure something like this. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you don’t need it.

Finally, the key ingredient for me was prayer to God asking for healing, and believing He would do it. Many times we ask but never expect, so we don’t get. But what if you knew you couldn’t fail? How would you pray? That’s where you need to be. In my case, my wife is a prayer warrior. She prays over me for my health and I do as well, and believe I will be healed.

So there you have it. I am sure you have a ton of questions and I’m open to answer what you have. Write me and I’ll reply or leave a comment below. Just ask.

Many have asked for my mineral list and prayer verses. You can find the complete list and much, much more in my eBook, My Cure for Hyperthyroidism. Order here now: $7

I also have Graves and work out each day, but I have been noticing muscle loss. I eat relatively well. What protein formula do you use and what is your “shake”.

I am now using a casein-free (because I have read reports that casein may contribute to cancer) protein powder I buy at Whole Foods Market. It’s called “Life’s Basics – Plant Protein” from LifeTime.

Thanks for the info. My doc is pushing radioactive iodine. I’ve been on methimazole for 9 months. Doc says I shouldn’t be on methimazole for more than 1yr to 1 and 1/2 years due to the side effects. I’ve got to give your advice a try. Thanks again.

I belong to a small dynamic church in Kempton Park. We have witnessed Gods miracles – I know God has the power to heal without a doubt. We just have to understand that its sometimes a miracle and sometimes a process. Most important thing to remember its done in his time, it’s in his hands, we just have to have faith. Just ask and you will receive.
“Father God I repent and ask for your forgiveness in Jesus name. I ask that you restore my body totally. Satan you have no power over this body, I render your works useless and powerless in Jesus name. I thank you Jesus for the healing and the restoration you have performed within me. Thank you Jesus.”
We can take all the medication there is, but at the end of the day its in Gods hands.
I have been taking Omega 3, Vit B Complex (Sustain release), Cal-Mag, Multi Mineral and I am coping quit well. With Gods grace I will be healed.

What is it that i am doing that made me have hyperthrodism?

Donna January 12, 2012 - 3:28 pm

Dear Dave:

I came across your book and am not certain if it can help me. I was diagnosed with subclinical hyperthyroidism. My TSH is .52 low, and T3 1.1 normal, and T4 1.13 normal. I do have many symptoms including tremors and racing heartbeat among others. My doctor is uncertain what to do since he says that this condition is controversial as to what to do about it. Does your book provide information about what to do if you are subclinical? Do I need to first find out if I have Grave’s disease?

Thank you for answering my question.

Dave Jackson January 12, 2012 - 3:46 pm

Hi Donna,

Thanks for your question. No, I wouldn’t wait until you are diagnosed. If you are having tremors and a racing heart, sounds like things aren’t normal already even though your levels show something else. Listen, I am no doctor, but the protocol in my book wouldn’t hurt you if you didn’t have a problem. It’s just over the counter minerals and vitamins. I would check it out, especially magnesium for the tremors and heartbeat. Really helps me.

Thanks again! Dave

I praise God for his healing and victory over this. I may have symptoms from Graves disease yet I believe the symptoms will go away also. Thank you for your story. My outcome will be the same in Jesus name.

My doctor does not really tell me if I have an overactive thyroid graves disease or what. I have not had symptoms in a few years. He insists on me taking that RAI pill and I do not want to. Each time I get a stuffy head or feel really weird my family thinks the thyroid is going crazy. I do have many cycts on my thyroid but it doesnt bother me all the time and in fact only bothered me after I was pregnant and sort of went away after I lost the baby. I too believe that God has already healed me and will continue to believe that the manifestation will follow but Id like to know if you don’t have graves disease can this matter be balanced. Im going for a second opinion my doctor is arrogant and gets upset thinking Im doubting his knowledge. It’s not that I just don’t want to take that pill
